1993 – In a match taped for WCW Worldwide to air 25 days later, The Hollywood Blondes (Steve Austin and Brian Pillman) defeated Ricky Steamboat and Shane Douglas to win the WCW World Tag Team Championship in Macon, Georgia. On the same taping, Paul Orndorff beat Erik Watts in the final of a tournament to crown a new WCW Television Champion. The title had been vacant since the reigning champion Scott Steiner left WCW to sign with the WWF.

2008 – Takeshi Morishima ended Mitsuhara Misawa’s 448 day reign as GHC Heavyweight Champion with a win in Toyko, Japan. This would end up being Misawa’s last title win as he died in the ring in June the following year.

2012 – Canadian journeyman wrestler Doug Furnas passed away from heart failure at the age of 53.

2013 – ROH’s 11th Anniversary show took place at Frontier Fieldhouse in Chicago Ridge, Illinois. Two titles changed hands on the night. Firstly, Matt Taven dethroned Adam Cole as ROH Television Champion and later on the card, ReDragon (Kyle O’Reilly and Bobby Fish) took the ROH Tag Team Championship from Jay and Mark Briscoe. The main event saw Kevin Steen retain the ROH World Championship against Jay Lethal.

2017 – At an Impact Wrestling taping at the Impact Zone in Orlando, Florida, Alberto El Patron defeated Bobby Lashley for the Impact World Championship.

2020 – On Monday Night Raw from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York City, The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford) beat Seth Rollins and Buddy Murphy to win the Raw Tag Team Championship.
