Sometimes, you read a story so awesome that you just want to let everyone know about it.

Today we read about a 7-year old Scottish WWE fan from Lanarkshire, Scotland by the name of Caelan McFaulds who has raised an amazing £1693 (And counting) for the UK’s NHS by penning a book about his dream of rising to WWE Superstardom!

The campaign was noticed by stars including WWE Champion Drew McIntyre and Triple H who have taken to social media to raise awareness about the campaign.

When young Caelan told his parents he was bored of his lockdown schoolwork, they challenged him to come up with an idea to replace it. That idea was ‘The Main Event Of WrestleMania’, a book he wrote and illustrated from scratch while he and his family stayed at home during March and April.

Caelan’s parents have now started a funding campaign for the book. Anyone that donates to the campaign, which raises money for The Monklands Hospital in Airdrie, will be sent a digital copy of the book, one of which McIntyre printed off and signed for the young author.

You can donate/purchase your copy at this link. We’ve already purchased ours.

It’s been a tough couple of weeks both inside and outside the wrestling bubble with sadness seemingly at every turn. We thought it would be nice to end the week by reporting on a story that was sure to make everyone smile.
