WWE is celebrating a huge social media milestone today, having reached (and by now surpassed) 50 billion views of their content, enough for six views for every single person on the planet.
WWE.com had this to say in their official announcement:
The WWE channel — YouTube’s top-ranked in Sports ahead of the NBA, NFL, MLB, NHL, ESPN and NASCAR — is closing in on nearly 70 million subscribers.
The channel combines premiere in-ring highlights from Raw, SmackDown, pay-per-views, NXT, NXT UK and 205 Live, incredible access with exclusive interviews and the latest news from WWE Now. Also, WWE Kickoffs, Watch Alongs and WWE’s The Bump bring comprehensive live streaming coverage and analysis to the channel around pay-per-view events and more.
Thank you to the WWE Universe for helping our YouTube channel reach another amazing milestone!
This comes just under a year since they reached 40 billion views, which was on October 24th 2019.
The top three WWE videos on their channel are:
- “Randy Orton makes it personal with Triple H” in which the Viper kisses an unconscious Stephanie McMahon while HHH is handcuffed to the ropes.
- “John Cena and Brock Lesnar get into a brawl that clears the entire locker room” from Raw, April 9th, 2012.
- And… our favourite and yours… “Top 10 Stunning in-ring proposals.”
Let’s watch that one shall we?
