Last night’s edition of WWE SmackDown was unique for the company, as it was simulcast from two locations.
Whilst the majority of the show took place in the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland, two matches took place at Rolling Loud Miami.
The festival goers were treated to two matches, including Bianca Belair successfully defending the SmackDown Women’s Championship against Carmella.
It has been noted that whilst this happened, the live crowd in Cleveland were treated to a mid-show dark match.
Following a segment which aired on TV involving the six men, there was a tag match pitting Cesaro, Big E and King Nakamura against Dolph Ziggler, Robert Roode and Apollo Crews.
As you’d expect in this kind of scenario, the good guys picked up the win to keep the crowd going for the return of the TV cameras.
This would also seemingly be the point for Pat McAfee to create his ‘McAfee Minute’.
The Rolling Loud crowd (somewhat expectedly) had a lacklustre response to the wrestling, but it’s good to know that there was something for the live audience rather than just watching on the screens.
