The Undertaker may have retired his boots and hat, but the WWE legend isn’t afraid to get his hands dirty, as evidenced by recent footage of him felling a fan with a giant chop.
WWE’s resident Deadman has not fought in the company since his farewell match at WrestleMania 36, when he faced AJ Styles in a cinematic Boneyard Match in night one’s main event. His most recent in-ring bout was one month earlier, when he surprisingly won a gauntlet match at Super Showdown in Saudi Arabia, ultimately defeating Styles.
The Undertaker’s career was honoured at Survivor Series 2020, which marked the 30th anniversary of his debut for the company at the same event in 1990. Triple H, Ric Flair, Mick Foley, Rikishi, Henry Godwinn, and Shane McMahon were among those in attendance to pay tribute to the Undertaker. WWE boss Vince McMahon paid tribute to and introduced Undertaker for the final time before Taker delivered a moving farewell address and struck his signature pose as an image of his late manager Paul Bearer was shown on the video screen.
Despite his retirement from the ring, The Undertaker remains a huge wrestling presence thanks to his legendary thirty-year run as the Phenom. A video of the Undertaker in a restaurant being asked to deliver a chop to a fan has recently gone viral on social media. As one would expect from a chop from a giant like Taker, the fan was knocked to the ground.
