It was announced recently that Ken Shamrock will be the latest induction into Impact Wrestling’s Hall Of Fame.

A recent exchange on social media suggests that his induction might feature a message from the biggest star in the world, The Rock.

Impact tends to induct a solitary star into their hall each year. Previous inductions have included some huge names that have made their mark on the promotion including Kurt Angle, Sting, Team 3D and Jeff Jarrett.

As the first world champion in what was then TNA Wrestling back in 2002, Shamrock will always have a special place in the history of the promotion. His recent run as the world’s scariest old man has added to the reasoning to induct him.

On Friday, Shamrock sent a very public request to his old WWE rival, The Rock to be a part of his induction and The Great One soon responded.

Shamrock and The Rock feuded in 1998 in a storyline that helped them both move up the card. They later teamed as two of the first members of Vince McMahon’s Corporation stable.

Shamrock tweeted out to The Rock:

Hey brother I am being Inducted into the Impact Wrestling HOF I would be very grateful if you could send a Induction greeting. After all I believe my time with you was my greatest memories in Wrestling. Thank you

It didn’t take long for a reply to come in:

Congrats, my brother. Awesome news. I will take care of this and get it to you by this weekend.

Based on his contractual situation with WWE it seems massively unlikely that Rocky will be able to appear on Impact, even just as a recorded video. But if the ceremony is non-televised then this video should not be an issue.
