Impact Wrestling’s ‘No Surrender event took place this weekend, headlined by Rich Swann defending the Impact World Championship against Tommy Dreamer.
After Swann’s successful defense, both men were attacked by Moose, who ended the show holding the Impact title belt aloft.
Or so we thought.
Immediately after the screen faded, we got a short, surprising sting to let us know that New Japan stars Juice Robinson and David Finlay will be appearing soon in Impact Wrestling.
We later found out that the definition of ‘soon’ is this Tuesday’s edition of Impact!
This is the latest move in what increasingly looks like a long term talent exchange between Impact, NJPW and AEW and it is clear that it is driving fan buzz in all three promotions.
Could Robinson be coming after the Impact Tag Team Champions and NJPW alumni, The Good Brothers?
Earlier on No Surrender, Anderson and Gallows defended their Impact Tag Team Championship against Chris Sabin & James Storm and All Elite Wrestling’s Private Party in a triple threat tag team match.
We’ve heard talk about the Forbidden Gate being opened but it feels now like it is being kicked off it’s damn hinges!
Impact Wrestling airs in the UK on their YouTube and Facebook pages for anyone wanting to check out the fallout from No Surrender this week.
