The August 18 edition of AEW Dynamite will mark the final labour for Chris Jericho as he is set to face MJF in a match with added stipulations.
On this week’s episode of Dynamite, ‘Le Champion’ overcame Wardlow in the fourth labour, despite plenty of interference from MJF.
It seemed as if the previous labours against the likes of Nick Gage and Juventud Guerrera were catching up with Jericho, as Wardlow controlled large sections of the match.
Eventually ‘The Demo-God’ rallied and locked in the Walls Of Jericho – only for MJF to rake his eyes to break the hold.
It was at this point MJF decided to get in the ring, however he was quickly ejected by the referee which was enough of a distraction for Jericho to use his baseball bat and hit the Judas Effect on Wardlow for the win.
After a bit more commotion, the show closed with MJF confirming the stipulations for the final labour – which included taking the Judas Effect away from Jericho.
Not only that, but Jericho would have no entrance music for the match, meaning there would be no singalong with his iconic Judas theme – although we can guess that the crowd will help with that part.

Also announced for next week’s AEW Dynamite is a contest with Sting and Darby Allin taking on 2.0.
This will mark Sting’s first televised match since September 14, 2015 after his first AEW contests took place on pay-per-view.
Also helping to stack the lineup for next week already is an AEW Tag Team Championship defence by The Young Bucks against Jurassic Express.
