Roman Reigns against Brock Lesnar has officially been announced by WWE to take place at Crown Jewel on 31st October.
‘The Beast Incarnate’ returned to SmackDown on 10th September, where he confronted Reigns at the event in Madison Square Garden.
The opening segment of the show even saw Lesnar hoist Paul Heyman on to his shoulders looking for an F5, before Reigns and The Usos could make the save.
The Usos were taken to Suplex City for their troubles, with Lesnar also making sure he laid down a challenge to Reigns for a match in the future.
Reigns also interjected himself in to the main event, making sure The Usos retained the SmackDown Tag Team Championships by disqualification against The Street Profits.
The marquee match between Reigns and Lesnar marks the WWE’s return to Saudi Arabia in February 2020 for Super Showdown. On that occasion, the main event saw Goldberg face ‘The Fiend’ Bray Wyatt. Once again, WWE have pulled out the high-profile match for the country, which will take place on 31st October.

One fact the announcement does not confirm is whether the Universal Championship will be on the line at Crown Jewel. Reigns is already set to defend the title against Finn Balor at Extreme Rules later this month, so it may just be a case of waiting for that match to be completed first.
Balor also made an appearance at SmackDown in Madison Square Garden, where he revived his Demon character at the end of the show to go face to face with Reigns. After ‘The Tribal Chief’ had caused his trouble in the main event and was standing tall, the lights went out and the familiar heartbeat him for the Demon to make his appearance.
