A couple of weeks ago, The Rock talked about how he would pick Roman Reigns as his opponent if he were to return at WrestleMania.

In a recent edition of the Load Management podcast, the current WWE Universal Champion confirmed that he feels if there’s anyone The Rock would feel comfortable in the ring with, it would be him.

If there’s anyone to do it, and anyone he’d feel comfortable with in the ring and have the proper buildup that can rise to that occasion, there’s no doubt in my mind that I’m the guy. We’re gonna have to crack a lot of eggs on the way, but that’s just good TV. Going forward and building a really dominant bad guy within myself and here comes the astronomical superstar – there’s never been a guy on his level. You have really build up that build to get to that point.

This match would certainly cause the hype needed for a (hopefully) post-pandemic WrestleMania, whilst there are already rumours of ‘the showcase of the immortals’ changing location.

Reigns also talked about the biggest lesson he’s learned from ‘The Great One’.

Just be kind to others. No matter where you find yourself, try to give back as much as possible and help those when you can. When you can, be as genuine as possible, and help out as many people as you can.
