Report: WWE SummerSlam Location Confirmed, Major Changes To PPV Schedule

It would seem it’s all change for WWE when it comes to their pay-per-view schedule, whilst it looks like a location for SummerSlam has been confirmed.

According to Sports Illustrated, the hottest show of the summer will take place in Nevada, with PWInsider also making a very fair assumption that it means the town will be Las Vegas.

WrestleVotes, who seem to have a handle on these sort of things, have also teased the Vegas location this evening.

On top of this, Hell In A Cell is set to take place on 20th June, a far cry from its usual October slot, with Money In The Bank moved to July.

The report from SI comments that the switch of those shows is because Hell In A Cell will be a better ThunderDome production, whilst it’s planned that Money In The Bank could take place in front of a live crowd in Texas.

We will have to await official confirmation from WWE on all of this, but the Hooked On Wrestling team are gearing up for SummerSlam and you can find out all the information we have at the moment here.
