According to a report from PWInsider, WWE have released Velveteen Dream.
Real name Patrick Clark, 25, he was once thought of as one of the brightest prospects in WWE’s developmental territories.
However, allegations of inappropriate sexual behaviour towards minors on social media surfaced in June 2020 shortly before his parking lot brawl loss to then NXT Champion Adam Cole at NXT TakeOver: In Your House the same month.
Following injuries suffered in a car absence, Clark was absent from television until August but made his last NXT appearance at TakeOver 31 in October.
The allegations made against Clark were never proved with WWE claiming to have conducted an internal investigation that turned up no proof of any wrong doing.
