Fantasy picks take place in all sports, and it’s certainly up for discussion in the realms of professional wrestling Survivor Series. Well, Paul Heyman didn’t have to think too long about the four men he would line up in the signature match type.
Survivor Series originally started as teams of five in an elimination match back in 1987, and whilst the size of the teams seems to fluctuate between four and five it has been a mainstay of the WWE calendar ever since.
In a conversation with Z100, the manager of the current Universal Champion Roman Reigns unsurprisingly picked his current charge to be part of the team. However, he technically only named three wrestlers as part of the squad as he knows they would be able to do enough to get the job done.
Roman Reigns, The Usos, and I will even throw myself in there because I will never need to tag in. The three of them can handle any four beings on the face of the planet.
This is certainly a squad of current wrestlers Heyman would want to promote, as he has been around the wrestling business long enough to have represented a plethora of other talents. Some of Heyman’s charges he could have chosen include Bobby Eaton, Arn Anderson, Rick Rude, Larry Zbyszko, Steve Austin, Kurt Angle, Big Show, Rob Van Dam, Shelton Benjamin, Charlie Haas, CM Punk, and of course, Brock Lesnar.
Heyman has certainly got plenty on his mind at the moment, especially with Universal Champion Roman Reigns accepting plenty of challenges.
Not only will he go up against Finn Balor at Extreme Rules, but he has also already accepted a future match with ‘The Beast Incarnate’ Brock Lesnar. Lesnar even went so far as to hoist Heyman on to his shoulders looking for an F5 at the recent SmackDown Supershow, before he was stopped by The Bloodline.
