On the 2nd July SmackDown the identity of the sixth entrant in the men’s Money In The Bank Ladder Match.

That man is Kevin Owens who earned his spot by defeating his old rival Sami Zayn in a humdinger of a Last Man Standing match.

The near 30 minute bout saw both men go through multiple tables before Owens hit his former friend with a power bomb on the ring apron in a wonderful call back to the move Owens used to wipe out Zayn when The Prizefighter betrayed his friend in NXT on the night of Owens’ debut and Zayn winning the NXT Championship.

Owens joins Drew McIntyre, Ricochet, Riddle, John Morrison and Big E in the Money In The Bank match on Sunday July 18th. The final two entrants will be decided on next week’s SmackDown with a pair of qualifying matches and you can find all you need to know about the PPV event with our handy explainer guide.
