Following CM Punk’s in-ring debut for AEW last night at All Out, NJPW star KENTA has reignited his war of words with ‘The Voice Of The Voiceless’.

Whilst heavily rumoured, the wrestling world exploded when Punk made his debut for AEW on a recent episode of Rampage, which took place at the United Centre in Punk’s hometown of Chicago, Illinois.

As well as buying all 16,000 fans in attendance ice creams that night, Punk expressed his desire to wrestle Darby Allin and the match was soon made official for AEW’s showpiece event.

With All Out also taking place in Chicago, Punk had a strong following behind him. One Go To Sleep was not enough as Allin fell out of the ring after taking the move, however a second G2S was enough for Punk to secure his first victory in the company.

There was one man seemingly not celebrating Punk’s first match in seven years, as KENTA took to social media with a very blunt expression.

If this is a way for KENTA to cross through the forbidden door and have a match with CM Punk remains to be seen, but it would be his first appearance in the company. In February of this year he teamed with Kenny Omega to defeat the team of Jon Moxley and Lance Archer.

The door is certainly ajar after last night’s All Out, where Moxley defeated NJPW legend Satoshi Kojima. After the match was one of the most unexpected debuts on the event, as Minoru Suzuki headed to the ring. Moxley and Suzuki will now collide this Wednesday on AEW Dynamite in Mox’s hometown of Cincinnati, Ohio.
