Keith Lee has been missing from WWE TV for the majority of this year, and has said on a number of occasions that he would explain all.
Well, now he has.
In a six-minute video posted on social media, the Limitless one confirms that he has been dealing with two problems, the first being contracting Covid back in January.
The second revolved around concerning bloodwork relating to his heart.
In the video, Lee confirms that he tested positive for Covid in January which explains him missing three weeks of TV.
He also thanked his real-life partner Mia Yim for her support during this time, as she then contracted the virus and ended up missing the Royal Rumble as a result.
After returning for a single match on WWE Raw against Riddle in February, Lee was then not seen for many months and it now turns out that it was more serious than some would have imagined.
The bloodwork relating to his heart meant numerous tests including MRI scans – which Lee jokes he “doesn’t fit in those machines” – and he was eventually sent to Pittsburgh by WWE for further testing.
Whilst the initial results were bad, he is now on an upward momentum especially since returning to WWE this month.
We will let you watch the video to learn the full details, as only the man himself can tell the full story. We are obviously just pleased to hear he is on the mend and getting back to where he deserves to be.
