Since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic in March, a number of talents across various companies have elected to stay away from TV tapings to minimise the risk of being infected by the Coronavirus.

One of the more integral talents to do so has been Impact Wrestling’s Tessa Blanchard, the organisation’s World Champion since defeating Sami Callihan in January.

Blanchard is the first female to hold a world championship in a major US promotion in the ‘men’s’ division.

The title has been in limbo for the last two months with the company doing their best to fill the void by presenting Moose as having brought back the old TNA World Championship.

It seems though that we will imminently find out what Impact has planned for their real world title in a few short days.

Will they continue to recognise Blanchard as champion until she returns? Or, like WWE Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn, will they look to strip the belt from her and crown a new champion?

It seems like all will be revealed on Tuesday’s Impact.
