Now going by Cassie Lee and Jessica McKay (formally Peyton Royce and Billie Kay respectively), the duo have filed to trademark what could very well be their new tag team name: The IInspiration.
The trademark for both merchandise and entertainment services has been sent to the USPTO and is as follows:
International Class 025: Hats; Shirts; Socks; Bandanas; Sweatshirts; Hooded sweatshirts
Intent to Use: The applicant has a bona fide intention, and is entitled, to use the mark in commerce on or in connection with the identified goods/services.
International Class 041: Entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests; Entertainment services, namely, live appearances by a professional wrestling and sports entertainment personalities; Entertainment services, namely, personal appearances by a professional wrestling and sports entertainment personalities; Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibits and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer; Providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; Providing online interviews featuring professional wrestling and sports entertainment personalities in the field of professional wrestling and sports entertainment for entertainment purpose.
As the IIconics, the duo captured the Women’s Tag Team titles at WrestleMania 35 in a Fatal Four-Way Tag Team match, outlasting the teams of Nia Jax and Tamina, The Boss ‘n’ Hug Connection (Bayley and Sasha Banks), and Beth Phoenix and Natalya.
They were released from the WWE just after this year’s WrestleMania and have since mentioned that they want to stay together moving forward and that they’re “just figuring out which company we’d be better with, AEW or Impact.”
Their no-compete clause expires on July 14th, so hopefully it won’t be too long before ‘The IInspiration’ decide where they’ll be making their mark!
