Actor and one-time professional wrestler Tiny Lister has passed away at the age of 62.

He was found on Thursday by L.A County Sheriffs in his Maria Del Ray apartment after a call from concerned friends who had not heard from the actor since the day prior.

No cause of death has been announced. An autopsy is scheduled to be performed. He was diagnosed with COVID-19 earlier this year.

Lister is most well known to wrestling fans as Zeus. He starred as the character opposite Hulk Hogan in the movie ‘No Holds Barred’ before reprising it in a series of matches in the WWE itself. The match also took place again later that year on the PPV ‘No Holds Barred: The Match, The Movie’. Zeus also took part in the Survivor Series PPV that year.

In 1996, Lister emerged in WCW for a one-time appearance as Z-Gangsta where he teamed with a plethora of other heels to face Hogan and Savage in the Doomsday Cage match at the Uncensored PPV.

To the wider world, Lister was most famous for playing Deebo in the ‘Friday’ series of films and as President Lindberg in ‘The Fifth Element’.
