Dwayne Johnson Presents The Trailer For ‘Young Rock’, The New Comedy Series Based On His Childhood

Before Dwayne Johnson took over Hollywood he was known to wrestling fans as The Rock, but what about before he was the most electrifying man in sports entertainment?

Have you ever wanted to know what his childhood and pre-WWE career was like? Us too! Now here’s our chance, a brand new series about his life before wrestling.

“Young Rock” focuses on different chapters of Dwayne Johnson’s life. From growing up in a strong and resilient family, to being surrounded by the wild characters of his professional wrestling family, to playing football at the University of Miami, the show will explore the crazy roller coaster that has shaped Dwayne into the man he is today and the larger-than-life characters he’s met along the way.”

The show stars, obviously, Dwayne Johnson with support from Joseph Lee Anderson, Stacey Leilua, Adrian Groulx, Bradley Constant, Uli Latukefu, Ana Tuisila, Fasitua Amosa and John Tui.

The Rock announced on his official Instagram and Twitter accounts that the trailer is now available with the following post:

If you’re in the USA the premiere for “Young Rock” is on Tuesday, February 16th at 8pm ET. Unfortunately in the UK we’re yet to hear of a release date. As soon as we find out when and where we can watch, we’ll let you know!
