Bryan Danielson has addressed the possibility of his wife Brie Bella joining him in AEW, following his debut for the company at the end of All Out 2021.
Whilst there had been plenty of rumours that the former Daniel Bryan was AEW bound, many didn’t expect him to appear at the end of the show when he evened up the odds when Adam Cole also debuted and joined The Elite.
Kenny Omega had retained the AEW World Championship against Christian Cage with a one-winged angel off the top, when Gallows, Anderson and The Young Bucks came out to continue the attack. Lucha Express tried to even up the numbers, but they were soon beaten down until Adam Cole made his debut – only to join the attack.
It then took Danielson heading to the ring to his signature ‘Ride Of The Valkyries’ theme to clear the ring to end the show, adding to the earlier debuts of the likes of Ruby Soho and Minoru Suzuki.
Following the show Danielson was part of the media scrum, and was asked whether there was a chance his wife Brie Bella would join him in the company, although he was sceptical about how that could happen.
So I mean, that would be very difficult, like, it was hard for me to come here, right? Because we have so many ties within WWE. She’s happy there, she has so many business connections there, so I don’t know.
Brie Bella and her sister Nikki finally joined the WWE Hall Of Fame earlier this year, when they were part of the delayed 2020 ceremony. Whilst there have been rumours that the duo could return to the ring and challenge for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships, given the way the wrestling world is going it isn’t beyond the realms of possibility that they could also make a jump.
