If you write a song called ‘Booker T’ then surely you have to get the wrestling legend to be in the video, no?
Bad Bunny, the Puerto Rican rapper, singer, and songwriter is a long time wrestling fan and has previously featured the Nature Boy himself, Ric Flair, in a few of his music videos.
Speaking to the Houston Chronicle about his involvement with Bad Bunny, Booker T had the following to say:
He was one of the kids growing up that was doing the Spinnarooni and scissor kicking somebody, that’s what was so cool about it, it was organic. He was a fan of mine, I’m a fan of the new generation. It just lets me know where I’ve gone in my career and how many people I’ve touched along the way. I might not know all the words, but I feel the vibe and I definitely dig the record.
There’s no Spinnarooni or Bunnyrooni but there are puppets, Booker dancing and a well placed ‘Can you dig it, SUCKA!’ at the end.
