This week’s AEW Dynamite Beach Break opened with the 20 person Tag-Team Battle Royal match with the winners going on to challenge the Young Bucks for the belts at AEW Revolution.
The Young Bucks themselves were in the match under the provision that if they won, they would be allowed to name their own opponents. Also in the Battle Royal were Top Flight (Darius Martin and Daunte Martin), The Acclaimed (Anthony Bowens and Max Caster), Private Party (Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen), Jurassic Express (Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus), The Inner Circle (Jake Hager and Sammy Guevara, Santana and Ortiz, Chris Jericho and MJF) and The Dark Order (Alex Reynolds and John Silver, Evil Uno and Stu Grayson).
Jericho won the match for his team by lastly eliminating Darius Martin which means himself and and MJF will challenge The Young Bucks at AEW Revolution on March 7th.
Beach Break was the latest tentpole edition of Dynamite that have proved especially newsworthy over the past year. This week’s episode was no different with a huge NJPW superstar making his shock debut during the show’s main event.
