AEW usually hold their PPVs on a Saturday but this year Revolution will be held on a Sunday, which is of course seen as the ‘traditional’ night for the ‘big’ wrestling shows.

Jon Moxley has a history when it comes to matches involving barbed wire, but it was Kenny Omega who put forward the stipulation to see how the AEW Championship would be defended. These two will meet in an ‘Exploding Barbed Wire Deathmatch’ and it’s going to be brutal.

Sting will be returning to the ring teaming with Darby Allin to take on Team Taz – Brian Cage and Ricky Starks – in a Streetfight. This will be Sting’s first match in five years and he’s surely going to want to prove that, even at 61 years old, he can still hold his own.

Chris Jericho and MJF won a tag-team Battle Royale in January to earn the match against current champions The Young Bucks. Will the challengers have the backing of the rest of The Inner Circle for the match, or will the faction have imploded by then?

Also on the show is a six-man ladder match to decide who will be the number one contender for Darby Allin’s TNT title. Announced so far are Penta El Zero M, Scorpio Sky and Cody Rhodes, with three other competitors yet to be named.
