This week’s Wednesday wrestling night saw viewership increases for both programmes.
NXT Halloween Havoc ‘won’ the night with an overall rating of 876,000 viewers on USA Network against 781,000 viewers for AEW Dynamite on TNT.
NXT’s audience saw the biggest week-on-week rise, beating last week’s 644,000. AEW saw a more modest but still positive rise from 753,000.
For those that are really into the granular detail, Dynamite scored a 0.32 rating in the 18-49 demographic with NXT hitting 0.25.
NXT scored their biggest rating of the year with the Halloween Havoc gimmick proving popular in terms of attracting viewers and also delivering in terms of content.
Both shows are in rude health and it will be interesting to see whether the ratings can remain strong through the end of the year.
