B-Fab had her first match
Breakker wasn’t the only in-ring debut that we saw, Briana “B-Fab” Brandy wrestled for the first time since she joined NXT, taking on Katrina Cortez. B-Fab was the one with her hand raised after the match after she hit Cortez with a huge neckbreaker and got the pin. Following the win B-Fab called Elektra Lopez to the ring and almost got what she wanted, but Legado del Fantasma held Lopez back.
Ridge Holland destroyed Drake Maverick
Maverick never had a chance.
New WWE NXT Champion Crowned
A Fatal 4-Way match was held to determine who would claim the recently vacated NXT Championship this week. Tommaso Ciampa, Pete Dunne, LA Knight, and Kyle O’Reilly were announced as the participants, but O’Reilly had been attacked backstage by Pete Dunne and Ridge Holland meaning he was unable to compete. Von Wagner (formerly known as Cal Bloom) made the save and was then announced by William Regal as O’Reilly’s replacement in the match. The match ended with Ciampa hitting the Fairytale Ending on Knight and becoming the NXT Champion for the second time.
InDex made it official
Surprisingly, the wedding of Indi Hartwell and Dexter Lumis went off mostly without a hitch (apart from them, you know, actually getting actually hitched…) Of course that’s not counting when Lumis choked out the gentleman officiating the wedding. Hartwell read out her vows telling everyone how Lumis is seen as a creep but he’s HER creep, and when it was Dexter’s turn to read his he gave the thumbs up. Lumis then spoke for the first time in NXT when he leaned in to the mic and said “I do.”
